Banned Books Week (Sept 24-30)

Banned Books Week is quickly approaching.

For those who have never heard of BBW, it's all about allowing people the freedom to read and to seek information. The minute a society begins to censor information from its people is the minute they lose their intellectual freedom.

The high school library is participating in an activity sponsored by the American Library Association called "Rebel Readers." More information will be available about how to get involved in Rebel Readers in mid September.

Until then, find a book you love and don't let others take it away from you!
