Upcoming Programming

During the month of November, we'll have the "Thanksgiving Tree" in the library. To participate in this programming, simply stop by the library to write your favorite book on one of the "ornaments" and hang it on the tree. If you can't think of a favorite book, you can also write what you are thankful for this year.

The month of December will bring a couple of programs:

Star Wars Day and the Hot Cocoa Winter Break Reading Challenge.

With the new Star Wars movie coming out in mid-December, we'll have a celebratory day of fun Star Wars related games and activities, as well as a presentation after school by members of the Mandalorian Mercs, a Star Wars costuming club. The members will be here to show off their Star Wars props and talk about what it takes to build a Star Wars costume. They will also give information about the club and other ones like it, including the charity work that they do. Be listening to announcements in early December to hear the date of Star Wars Day!

Lots of people are looking forward to the annual Hot Cocoa Winter Break Reading Challenge! The sign up for the challenge will take place during the first week of December and challenge packets will go out on the first day of semester exams.
